I awakened this morning to the bad news that Clarence 'Big Man' Clemons, the E Street Band's erstwhile saxophonist. suffered what is being reported as a severe stroke. On getting to work, my favorite big dog Sky went to the vet to have his ear looked at and now is having surgery to drain both a hematoma and an infection.

Worrying about both of the big fellas...:(

Poor Sky. (For those new to my LJ, Sky is the golden retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who belongs to my supervisor and serves as the office alarm system.) He went for a shave in May, and the groomer barely trimmed him. So his mama told the groomer to 'make him look like a lab' this time.
