gonzaiYes, I'm back. And I will get to my vacation, but I have plenty of little things I wanted to get out of my system.
Yesterday at the convenience store: an older woman comes in and berates the 'useless people' (me included) 'wasting money' on lottery tickets. Then she buys cigarettes. Pot, please meet kettle.
Feeling old again: the office's soon-to-be attorney was given a form to type. After staring at the typewriter for a few minutes, he came to my desk and 'fessed up that he's never used a typewriter in his life and has no idea how it works. He can't even figure out how to put paper in. I'm so old.
Loved the season premiere of Dexter. Especially their parody of their own opening credits. This could be a very good year.
Last night's Supernatural - in the apocalypse, Palin is President. Snerk.On a related note, we will try to actually go to the movies this weekend and see the Michael Moore film. It's my way of flipping the bird to right wingers without straining my poor little fingers.
On a lark, I picked the Detroit Lions to beat the Washington Racial Slurs last Sunday. 'scuse me while I enjoy my giggles at the expense of the office's Washington fan.
