The Problem With Stairs
Jul. 29th, 2008 01:29 pm Is that if you don't turn on the light, you may miss one. I've been living in this house over 23 years, I regularly go downstairs in the middle of the night (the bathroom is on the lower floor) without turning on the lights and I can't recall ever having a problem. So naturally, at 3:30 in the am, I managed to miss one of the steps and fall down the rest. Spiffy. Mostly I'm the sore and achy all over you get from near-disasters, but I also slammed my arm into the end of the bannister and jammed my already bum shoulder so that's REALLY bugging me.
Other things bugging me...I still enjoy 'In Plain Sight', but is it just me or has Marshall almost completely disappeared from the show? And he's what really makes it IMHO. On 'The Closer', I hope this was an anomaly and they don't make Commander Taylor a 'nice guy'. I like him better slightly antagonistic to Brenda. I finally got around to working on crafts and such for EMC and Christmas, but couldn't find all the stencils I was using just a couple weeks ago. (Two hours of frantic searching later: they fell behind the desk.) 'Eureka' starts tonight, but I'm having trouble caring. It's enjoyable enough the first time through, but it doesn't hold my attention or interest once it's over. For the third night in a row, I forgot to do the laundry. Better do it tonight or clean clothes might be a challenge.
