OD'd on both shows over the weekend, so some thoughts.

I figured Dexter was going to euthanize Camilla as soon as that storyline emerged, but it never occurred to me he'd use the pie. I somewhat wonder if that's what Camilla meant by wanting 'the perfect pie' in the first place. Very sweet, though, and a great example of how Dexter is far more human than he thinks he is.

As for Miguel, well, clearly that fellow's nuttier than the average fruitcake. I see no alternative but for Dexter to kill Miguel now. And I'm sure it's really eating at Dexter that Harry's ghost was so right on every count.

As for NCIS, I'm in full catchup mode now. I saw the only S2 ep I hadn't already seen Saturday, and most of the S3 eps (still missing 'Boxed In', which is downloading, and that's it.) Tackling my missing eps for S4, S5 & S6 along with finishing Dexter over the next couple of weeks and hoping I'm done by Christmas.

Last night we watched Hiatus 1 & 2, which left me utterly confused, for many reasons.
1. They concluded that Gibbs must have known the bomb was about to go off and protected himself from the blast. But that thread was left hanging - they never said how he knew or what he did.
2. How the heck did Pula get off the Turkish boat with every crew member being detained?
3. How the heck did Pula get onto the Cape Fear, which apparently had been at sea for some time prior to the dock incident?
4. What was destroyed at the end? Obviously the Cape Fear and the small boats approaching it, but those small boats presumably launched from a larger one - what happened to that? They kept talking about ports, cruise liners and witnesses, but I couldn't figure out how they fit into the larger picture.

While I'm on inconsistencies, the one thing about NCIS that drives me absolutely batty is they give the impression that Norfolk/Hampton Roads is across the street from the Navy Yard. It's not. I have family in Hampton Roads, and I can tell you the fastest I've ever gotten from Anacostia to Hampton is 3 1/2 hours. Usually, much longer. Add an hour for Norfolk and the other south of the river ports. There's basically only 2 ways to get there from DC (I-95 to I-64 and Rt 301 to Rt 17, and getting to Rt 301 is tough from Anacostia) and they're both congested. Yes, I'm a nitpick.
