Ice, Ice Baby

Yup, overnight Tuesday we got a nice thick layer of ice on top of the couple inches of snow we already had. It may have been worth it just to see CJ try to walk through the yard. She looked like Bambi on the frozen pond. And she has four legs and claws!
I wasn't much more successful with the walking thing, and everything was closed - except, I couldn't seem to get an answer as to my own office. No one was there, and the boss didn't answer his cell or return my calls. It was 11:30 before I finally heard yea or nay and then it was 'come in if you feel like it'. But I was up and dressed and fed, so I went in. Is there any particular reason why drivers, esp those in gray and silver cars, feel that just because it's gray and dim and foggy and icy everywhere, doesn't mean they need to turn on their *#@^%) ( lights?!?!
Anyhoo, short day at work, and productive day at home - I watched almost the entire first season of The Sarah Jane Adventures, and did 80% of a color portrait of the Tenth Doctor. I started both Tuesday, so both were finished yesterday. A touchup here and there and the portrait should be ready for scanning and then to the web page. And after I catch up on end of week viewing, hopefully I can start on the second season of SJA. Farpoint prep, in full swing!
