Um, yeah. They aren't kidding on the blood part. Mom doesn't care for BSG, but normally she ignores it. Today she walked out of the room. There was a particular point where I nearly did as well, even though I guessed (correctly) what was coming.
So post-ep, we went to dinner, tried PF Changs and learned the hard way, that place is packed. And then watched many sitcoms guest-starring Alan Tudyk because I really needed the happy stuff. Meep.
That would be the fate of the Quorum. As soon as they told Vice-President Zarek to wait outside, I was afraid he'd do just what he did. And it was sickening. So much so I nearly left the room myself.
I did manage to hang in until the end and resolution, which was quicker and less messy that I was afraid of, but it was also too easy. One exchange of weapons, one officer changes sides and suddenly we're all hunky-dory again? Uh, guys, you just had multiple massacres aboard ship and you've got to be seriously low on manpower. Face it, the fleet's pretty well frakked.
