Carnivale Marathon
Dec. 21st, 2009 09:39 pmHome sick today, still coughing my lungs out, so we mainlined Carnivale. 8 episodes of Season 2, finishing off the series. It really started rolling there halfway through the second season, but the payoff wasn't quite there. Still enjoyed the ride more than a little. Mom remains enamored of Tim DeKay.
And now to bed. I have to go to work tomorrow, no matter how crappy I feel.

Mom's New Obsession
Dec. 9th, 2009 10:24 amWhich I am responsible for feeding, naturally, although I didn't start it. White Collar started it. I blame the USA network.
Mom has a full-blown crush on actor Tim DeKay and wants to see everything he's been in. Usually I'm the one doing that obsessive thing, but this time it's her. Problem is you look up 'character actor' in the dictionary and you get a picture of DeKay. He's been on everything. The good news is it gives me an excuse to not only finally watch Carnivale, but she actually likes the show as well. And maybe I can get her to watch the 4400. But there is a LOT of material out there to dig through.
Furthermore, DeKay was a regular on 'Tell Me You Love Me'. I recall hearing about that show when it first appeared...and from what I heard, I'm not sure I should let her watch that one. Anyone seen it/have an opinion?
