Channel surfing this evening post Warehouse 13 (freakynese - awesome!) I discovered Pushing Daisies is still on tv! It's on Chiller, of all places. I have it on DVD but I don't have the time to rewatch these days, not with stuff I haven't watched the first time. I forgot how much fun this show is, guaran-dam-teed. (If you haven't seen the show, watch the episode 'Power & Water'. You'll get it. At least this post.)

Not that I watch SNL or actually care about the stuff, but I finally found Schweddy Balls today. One pint, hiding in the back of the freezer case at Safeway. As noted, I don't know what it's about, I just know that this ice creams annoy the hell out of just the sort of people who need the hell annoyed out of them. Anything I can do to contribute to the annoyance!

Meanwhile, I'm finally getting to Syfy's Christmas selections. (Haven't gotten to the Showtime selections of the week or Neverland, but we're getting there.) Eureka was FREAKIN' FANTASTIC. Instant vault to the top of the Christmas programming list. Although that means anything Warehouse 13 & Haven can throw at us will be anti-climactic. But seriously? If you haven't seen the Eureka Christmas ep, find it and watch. Most awesome.

Watched this week's ep last night and besides my extreme amusement at the whole fez thing, I was very pleased about the dog situation overall. Tray is a rescue (a stray) of indeterminate parentage (my guess is Australian Shepherd and whatever got in the yard that day.). How often do you see rescues and/or mutts onscreen? Yes, quite pleased. Looking forward to seeing more of Tray on the show :)

Lots o' panels, some gaming, one autograph line later. My back and shoulders really hated the chairs and I'll be one sore pup tomorrow, but otherwise things went fairly well. Some of the GCOMers stopped by Saturday and Sunday and [livejournal.com profile] jslinder was free so some games were played. Got some new buttons, including a custom order for Carcassonne buttons - "Carcassonne: Friendly & Cooperative, MY ASS'. Picked up some photos and an autograph from John deLancie and that was it for spending. I did just the one turn through the autograph line and even that I stalled on, opting for most of [livejournal.com profile] tiggerallyn 's Beatles panel and going to the line late. Still had to wait an hour, but it wasn't bad temperature wise and the mood was convivial. Sunday, I stopped by Eddie McClintock's panel, the guy is a total goof. And it turns out he's also an artist, except that because of the hand I wasn't able to draw a picture of him. That would have really started a conversation! Anyway, a pic of Eddie's autograph table, complete with his doodles on the tablecloth, and a shot from his panel.
