And marvel at the complete bBrisco County Jr series for $12.00. http://www.wbshop.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-WB-Site/default/Product-Show?pid=1000002843  Or the original V miniseries for $9.95, or loads of other cartoons and less popular shows at good prices.

Someone hide my credit card from me, please!

OK, whose bright idea was it to air two mindbending, WTF? series finales in 48 hours? I was still working on Ashes to Ashes when Lost was dropped on me. Up half the night working that one out. I have a theory, but I think it will require diagrams. Also finally got to the season ender of V and that had quite the twist there, too. Spoilers for V finale )
Then I come to work, except I can't. A truck, loaded with an MTA bus, has parked across the intersection to the street my office is on. No vehicles can get onto or off of the street. I spent the first 15 minutes of the work day sitting in my car blowing my horn at this moron. He pulls 20 feet further forward and people can access the street, but he won't do it. Jackass.

V gets a second season? Seriously? I didn't think anyone was watching it. I'm good with it, as I'm curious to see where they'll go with it (and I'm not wedded to the 80s version).

Law & Order, original flavor, gone. Wow. Rather amazing that NBC would dump it for 'new shows' when they've proven rather conclusively the last few years that they can't produce a decent new show to save their lives. (They should take a long look at USA and start modeling themselves after that.)

Cold Case & Damages - clearly, both shows don't think they're coming back. The last few Cold Cases and the final Damages were all tying up loose storylines and/or giving characters promising new beginnings.

I have not watched the Supernatural finale. I was comatose at 9 last night so didn't even try. Tonight, honest.

Not even bothering to try to make sense of Ashes to Ashes anymore. Still watching, mind, but not trying to figure it out.

Back to work.

I only saw two of the four usual suspects, but they both inspired serious WTF moments.

As to NCIS:LA - according to the opening credits, the episode was written by 'Speed Weed'. I swear, I did not make that up. Speed Weed. I am at a loss as to how or why that name became attached to a network show.

As to V - originally I thought vaguely spoilerly ) There better be more of this show. Granted, I remember next to nothing of the original and hence I'm much more forgiving of this version, but now I really like it.

Not really spoilery

But just in case )

I took today off of work to tackle some errands and such. They're 98% done now and I'm dropping fast.

Is it bedtime yet?

Seriously. Chicago Tribune review of 'V' )
So this guy overlooks 1) the miniseries 25+ years ago; 2) the TV series 25+ years ago; and 3) that this remake has been in production for years, long before the 2008 election. Doesn't happen to mention any of the above. Probably because it conflicts with the opinions he already formed watching Glenn Beck.

V, or NCIS? That is the question...
